1.5oz 2016 RCM Silver White Falcon

The Royal Canadian Mint is known for creating high quality .9999 fine silver. This beautiful coin is no exception. It is equipped with security enhancements of radial lines on both sides and the anti-counterfeiting maple leaf. The maple leaf has a privy mark with a micro-engraved year of issue on the inside. Therefore, investors and collectors can rest assured they are getting an authentic silver piece.

On the obverse is the magnificent White Falcon. The White Falcon is also called a gyrfalcon or gerfalcon. Steve Hepburn made a detailed design to show off the impressive bird. Also displayed are “CANADA 2016,” “9999 FINE SILVER,” “1 ½ OZ,” and “ARGENT PUR.” The reverse features Susanna Blunt’s design of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. Also, you will see the words “8 DOLLARS,” “D G REGINA,” and “ELIZABETH II.”

The Silver Snow Falcon is the fourth release in the Canadian Wildlife Series. Additionally, the series includes the Arctic Fox, the Polar Bear, and the Polar Bear with its cub. These coins are 50% thicker than other RCM silver coins to accommodate for the extra metal content.
